永井敬二コレクション継承クロージングイベントに登壇します

2024年に逝去したモダンデザインコレクター・永井敬二氏のコレクション継承活動の一環として、7月27日（月）にKBCシネマにてクロージングイベントが開催されます。

弊社代表・井手健一郎が、かつて共同主宰を務めた「デザイニング展」の元主宰者として、トークショー第一部「デザインは『地域』の文化になりうるか」に登壇します。坂下和長氏・山田敦貴氏・三木創平氏とともに、デザインが地域文化としていかに根付き、次世代へ伝わりうるかを議論します。

第二部では寺田尚樹氏・二俣公一氏が「ジャパニーズモダンの黎明期から現代そして未来へ」をテーマに登壇。前半の上映会・トークショー、後半の懇親会という二部構成で、デザインの継承を多角的に考える夜となります。

Speaking at the Nagai Keiji Collection Succession Closing Event

A closing event for the Nagai Keiji Collection Succession Crowdfunding will be held on Monday, July 27 at KBC Cinema in Fukuoka. The event marks an ongoing effort to pass on the vast design collection left by Nagai Keiji, a renowned modern design collector who passed away in 2024.

Rhythmdesign principal Kenichiro Ide will participate as a panelist in Talk Session Part 1: “Can Design Become Regional Culture?” — joining as a former co-director of Designing, the design exhibition he once helped lead. Alongside Kazunaga Sakashita, Atsuki Yamada, and Sohei Miki, the session will explore how design can take root in regional culture and be passed on to future generations.

Part 2 features Naoki Terada and Koichi Futatsumata in conversation on the theme “From the Dawn of Japanese Modern Design to the Present and Future.” The evening unfolds in two parts — a screening and talk show followed by a reception — offering multiple perspectives on the question of design succession.
