この度、2020年竣工の「大濠テラス ~八女茶と日本庭園と。~」において、弊社代表 井手健一郎が「第3回 九州建築新人賞(JIA)」を受賞いたしました。

本賞は、4月11日に開催された公開シンポジウムにて、二次審査を通過した5作品を対象に、3名の審査員による最終審査を経て決定されたものです。

建築という活動を通して個人が評価される機会は多くはなく、公開の場での審査および議論に立ち会えたことは、大きな励みとなりました。

本賞の主催である日本建築家協会九州支部の皆様、審査員の皆様、ならびに本プロジェクト関係者の皆様に、心より御礼申し上げます。

We are pleased to announce that Kenichiro Ide, principal of our studio, has received the 3rd Kyushu Emerging Architect Award (JIA) for “Ohori Terrace – Yame Tea and a Japanese Garden –,” completed in 2020.

The award was decided following the final review conducted by three jurors at a public symposium held on April 11, where five shortlisted projects were presented.

Opportunities to have one’s individual work evaluated through architectural practice are limited, and attending the open review and discussions was a valuable and encouraging experience.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Japan Institute of Architects Kyushu Branch, the jury members, and all those involved in this project.
